Food Shed Co-op aspires to be a neighborhood destination and a place to call home for our customers and associates. Our mission is to create a local food cooperative promoting a healthy, ethical, and resilient community. Our core values are to promote and foster better food choices, cultivate and strengthen the local economy, inspire and empower the community, and champion environmentally responsible practices.
The Food Shed Co-op is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity in any term, condition, or privilege of employment. We have begun building our team to staff our community-owned store. We are looking for people who love food and are authentic to local agriculture and community. Department managers will be the first group brought on board, and then other staff as we approach our Spring Grand Opening.
