Like much of the beef industry right now, Thousand Hills is experiencing higher cattle costs as the U.S. herd remains near historic lows and agriculture continues to face inflationary pressures. As a result, some beef prices will gradually adjust in the coming months. Beef has been affected more than most proteins because rebuilding cattle herds takes several years, although pork, poultry, and even plant-based proteins are also seeing higher production costs.
