Hello Co-op Owners,
February brings us a handful of days to celebrate: Groundhog Day, the Full Snow Moon, Super Bowl 2026, Valentine’s Day, and Mardi Gras, to name a few.
February is also Black History Month. In 1976, President Gerald Ford recognized Black History Month and told Americans to “seize the opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of Black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history.” If you’d like to learn more about Black History Month and Black history in general, you can start here: blackhistorymonth.gov.
Whatever you choose to celebrate this month, we have nearly everything you need to help you eat well and stay healthy. We also have a wide and varied selection of indulgences to tempt your taste buds.
New Happenings
This past month, we brought on KeHE! This is wonderful news because it means we now have a backup distributor in case our primary distributor is out of stock. Through KeHE, we also have a new budget-friendly option called Cadia, featuring clean ingredients and great quality at a price you can afford. Be on the lookout for the maple-shaped cookies — they’ve quickly become a staff favorite.
We’re also working hard to bring you more local products and producers. We’ve added Everett’s Coffee, Teddy’s Tallow Chips, Organic Rootz Sea Moss, and plenty more on the horizon. We are also preparing spring classes and events. If you or someone you know would like to teach a class that aligns with our mission and values, please feel free to contact me.
