Hello Co-Op Owners,
August is here and we are at the start of the traditional school year. Where did this summer go? Thankfully, the weather is beautiful this time of year, so you still have time to enjoy summertime rays, laughter, and eats.
My favorite summertime meal is Local corn (from Food Shed, of course), a freshly grilled cheeseburger with chipotle mayo, and my mom’s potato salad. Can’t beat mom’s cooking.
New happenings:
What’s this? A sign? Did you see a sign? Your eyes aren’t deceiving you; we now have a store sign out front! We hope you love it; staff were super happy to see it being installed.
The relocations continue: we’ve moved our wine to the front of the store and expanded our selection. There is a clearance end-cap in the back of the store; right now, you can get some great deals on tea, and we still have wellness products! Grab and go has two meal offerings made in-house: Teriyaki Chicken and BBQ Chicken. Please ask an associate if you have trouble finding your favorites in their usual spots.
We are hosting community game night! Thanks to one of our lovely owners, we have regular game nights at the Food Shed Community Room on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. Bring your board games, card games, and tabletop games for a night of friendly competition and community.
If you or someone you know is interested in working at the Food Shed, we have job openings on our website. We look forward to seeing all the new faces.
