Join us on the beautiful Food Shed patio for First Friday: Sips, Strings & Local Things on Friday, October 2, from 5:00–7:30 PM!

Come enjoy a fall evening of live music, local sips, community and good company. Our friends at Oak & Alchemy are partnering with us for the evening, serving beer and wine available for purchase right on the Food Shed patio.

We’re especially excited to welcome singer-songwriter and guitarist Tim Merkel to the Food Shed stage for the first time. Before moving to Colorado—and well before the Food Shed opened—Tim was a local favorite, performing throughout our region. He was also an early believer in the Food Shed, becoming owner #373.

A classically trained guitarist and prolific songwriter, Tim has been writing and performing for more than 40 years, with roots in Chicago’s Old Town folk scene and influences ranging from John Prine and James Taylor to Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot and John Denver.

Now Tim is bringing his guitar back to the area. Come help us welcome him home and enjoy his first local performance in many years!
