Hello Co-Op Owners,
July is the first month of the new fiscal year, the magical month when we begin closing the books on the previous fiscal year and focus on the new one. Stay tuned for fiscal year-end updates during our Annual Owners Celebration & Meeting on Thursday, September 17th.
July is also the halfway point of summer. It feels like summer has just started, yet here we are thinking of August and going back to school. Whether you are planning for back-to-school or savoring summer a little longer, we have what you need to make either one more memorable. From healthier alternatives to your junk food favorites or new local products soon to become favorites, come on by and see what we have to offer. If you catch me, you can always ask for my favorites, and I’ll give you a mini tour of local and customer favorites.
New Happenings:
You may notice some changes over the next few weeks as we work to make your shopping experience easier. Our refrigerated areas are going to undergo a major overhaul as we bring categories closer together and expand others. We are excited to make our offerings easier to locate. Please ask an associate if you have trouble finding your favorites in their usual spots.
If you or someone you know is interested in working at the Food Shed, we have two openings posted on Indeed and here on our website. Our prepared foods supervisor and marketing coordinator are two key positions in the store and a great opportunity to get closer to the community.

- August 5th, Board President Scott Brix is presenting at Green Drinks in Duke’s Ale House. 5 pm-7 pm
- August 8th: Poetry on the Patio from 3 pm – 5 pm with Carol Alfus
- August 30th: Community Breakfast from 9 am -11 am.
