Come join us for a special Meet & Greet event celebrating two impactful non-profits that are the recipients of Food Shed Co-op’s Wooden Nickel Program for this quarter! On Saturday, February 22, we invite you to learn more about Glory Bound Rescue Ranch and Turning Point—two organizations that are making a real difference in our community.

Glory Bound Rescue Ranch is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and renewing the lives of animals in need. This 501(c)(3) organization takes in abandoned, abused, and neglected animals and provides them with a second chance at life. Whether finding them loving homes or offering lifelong care, their mission is to rescue them all, one by one, until there are none!

Turning Point has been a cornerstone in McHenry County since 1986, offering crucial services to families impacted by domestic violence. From individual and group counseling to legal and non-legal advocacy, Turning Point helps survivors rebuild their lives. With the addition of a secure emergency shelter and child services, they provide comprehensive support for those in need, empowering individuals and families to break free from abuse.

At this event, you’ll have the chance to meet the passionate teams behind these organizations, hear their powerful stories, and learn about ways you can help. Whether you’re interested in donating, volunteering, or simply learning more about their missions, this is a wonderful opportunity to show your support.
