One of the most important things you can do to help the Food Shed Co-op is to share with others why YOU support our community-owned grocery store. Help bring it to life by sharing our mission, encouraging others to shop once the store is open and recruiting new member-owners. One simple way our social media followers can do that is by regularly liking, sharing, and commenting on our Facebook and Instagram posts. If you enjoy interacting with people face to face, consider signing up to help spread the word about our store at the Food Shed Co-op farmers market and community event tables. 

There are other possibilities for getting involved, too. If you have any skills that would help the co-op with organizing fundraising events, teaching a class, providing support for grant writing or becoming involved at the Board of Directors level by attending board meetings, fill out our Volunteer Interest Form to let us know what interests you. There will even soon be a Garden Club to assist with tending to our native plantings.
